Hi! I’m Leah: avid book worm, word nerd, runner, gym rat, tennis fanatic, hiking chick, horse lover, etc. Colorado born and bred, the outdoors of my beloved home are my playground. Such surroundings—mountains, deserts, mesas—serve as creative inspiration in all my endeavors, whether it be trail running, ghost towning, hiking, and of course, writing. Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Domínguez-Escalante Expedition

The United States isn’t the only 250th anniversary happening this year. Also reaching the landmark semiquincentennial anniversary in 2026: the Domínguez-Escalante Expedition.
